AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 18-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, and REPEALING Sections 18-12-4, 18-12-10
and 18-12-11, relating to fees.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sections 18-12-4, 18-12-10 and 18-12-11 of
the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to fees,
be, and the same hereby is, REPEALED.
SECTION 2. That Section 18-12-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to fees for inspection of milk,
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 18-12-2. Fees for the inspection of milk products.
Milk producers, processors, separators, bottlers, ice cream
manufacturers, and other milk product producers, operating
in or shipping to the Salt Lake County market, shall pay a fee
to the Salt Lake City-County Health fund as provided in
Section 18-12-5. Said fees shall be established, and amended
as necessary, by the Salt Lake City-County Board of Health after
notice has been given to, and an opportunity for hearing afforded
to those parties required to pay said fees. In no event shall
the fees charged exceed the actual cost of inspection."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its
first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 20th day of October, 1976.
