An erdinanee amending and re-enacting Section 568 of the Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1303.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Balt Lake City, Utah:
$DICTION 1. That Section 568 of the Devised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, 1903, be,' and the same hereby is Mande& and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
"?IOW fit. The Deeerder shall have power to appoint,
during the term for whieh he is sleeted, subjeot to aonfirma-
tien by the CSunoil, the following deputies and assistants:
Os* Deputy Deeerder, who shall alms wet as Clerk of the
,j City Ceumeil Committees, at a salary of twelve hundred •
($1*00.00) dollars per ammo;
Three Deputy Recorders, two of whom shall act as clerks of
the City Court, at a salary of ten hundred and eighty ($1080.00
dollars per *Osumi and one of whom shall set as clerk of the
Turea11e Court, at a salary of sine hundred ($000.00) dollars
per annum;
One Clerk at a salary of is. thousand ($1,000.00) dollars
per annum;
Two Clerks at a salary of lane hundred ($100.00) dollars
each, per anus;
Two stenographers for the City Court, at a salary of seven
hundred and twenty ($720.00) dollars each, per annum, all of
which salaries shall be paid monthly as are the salaries of
other city employees.
BDCTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
BBCTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval. •
passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City,Utah,February 19th,
1906, and referred to the Mayor for his approval.
