Keyser V Kniglu Lee Mr. Chairman - - -; {I v - AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXVIII, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to licenses, by adding in and to said Chapter a new section to be known as Section T30. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Chapter XXVIII, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to licenses, be and the same is here- by amended by adding in and to said Chapter a new section to be known as Section 730, to read as follows: SEC. 730. It shall ue unlawful for any person to conduct, carry on or operate any transfer business or the business of running, driving or operating any automobile, automobile truck or any other motor propelled vehicle used for the transportation of baggage, express, freights, household goods, merchandise, sand, gravel, coal or materials for hire in Salt 1 j` Lake City without first procuring a license therefor and paying the yearly license fee which shall be according to the following schedule: (1) For each such vehicle of not more than 3 ton capacity $5 25 per year. (2) For each such vehicle of not more than one ton nor less than i-ton capacity. . . .$10.25 per year. (3) For each such vehicle of not more than three tons nor less than one ton capacity . . $15.25 per year. (4) For each such vehicle of not more than five tons nor less than three tons capacity . $20.25 per.year. (5) For each such vehicle of not less than five tons capacity $25.25 per year. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordint7 e shall take effect immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first *2* 1publication.
