AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 24-5-1 of the Revised Ordinances
..
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the Civil Service Commission,
by adding thereto a new paragraph to the end of said section.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 24-5-1 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the Civil Service Commission,
be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding thereto a new paragraph at
the end of said section, to read as follows:
"The Civil Service Commission may hire an attorney to act
asico-ordinator for said commission at such compensation as the
Board of Commissioners may fix."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City chat this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publiation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 27th day of January , 1960.
