Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 826x10 of Chapter 31 of the
Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to intoxicating
liquors.
Be it ardained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 826x10 of Chapter 31 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to intoxicating liquors,
be, and the sane is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
Seo. 826x10. After this ordinance becomes effeotive,in case
any retail liquor dealer's license shall be revoked according to
law, or in case the holder of any such license shall retire from
business at the end of the period for which suoh license is
granted, or in case the holder of such license shall not apply for
a new license before the expiration of the license under which said
holder is doing business, no retail liquor dealer's license shall
be issued or granted to take the place of any such license until
the number of such licenses shall be leshan one to each thousand
of population of said city ascertained as provided in seotion 826x9
of this ordinance. That in case the holder or holders of a retail
liquor dealer's license desires to retire from business before such
license shall expire and shall in writing file with the clerk of the
district court and with the city recorder of Salt Lake City consent
to the cancellation of his or their said license, a retail liquor
dealer's license may be issued and granted to another person or
partnership who shall be qualified to receive the same by the laws
of the state of Utah and the ordinals es of Salt Lake City./In thy,`'',*;;;5

SECTION E. This ordinance shall take effect one day after
publication.
