An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on the north side of Second North Street from Second West Street to
Quince Street, in Sewer District No. 1, for the construction of a
sewer.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described
abutting on the north side of Second North Street from Second West
Street to Quince Street, in Sewer District No. 1.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
• sewer upon said portion of 'said street opposite the property here-
inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said
improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established
that the sale wil' be especially benefited thereby to tee full.
amount of the tax hereby levied, and s<a,i.;:. parcels of land are hereby
assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear
foot frontage upon said portion of said street frontin!*, upon and to
a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby
levied and to be assessed upon said. parcels of land is one thousand
two hundred and ei;phty-seven ($12W7.00) dollars, or one and 30/100
(*1.30)dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is hereby
authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions
of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, all. of lot 2,
block 113, and all of lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, block 114, plat "A", Salt
Lake City Survey, as the same are shovm upon the official plats of
said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said. street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
