An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 383 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as ar.ended by an ordinance p=_.csed by the City Council December 29, 1910, and approved by the Mayor December 30, 1910. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Uteh: SECTION 1. That Section 383 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903, as amended by an ordinance passed by the City Council December 29, 1910, and approved by the Mayor December 30, 1910, be, and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows: SECTION 383. Every person applying for a license as pawn- broker, shall, before receiving such license, pay into the City Treasury a license tax of one hundred ($100.00) dollars per annum (no such license to be issued for a less period than six months), and shall, before receiving such license, enter into a joint and separate bond, with corporate surety to he approved by I the Mayor, in the penal sum of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars,) , conditioned for the faithful observance of all ordinances res- pecting pawnbrokers; provided, that the license provided for in this section shall not permit the licensee to conduct the busi- ness of a merchant. SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinance Viand resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent jof such conflict. ! SECTION 3.
