Green / Stewart 1 _ Mr. Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMMING SECTION 1013, Chapter XVI:, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1920, as amended by an ordinance passed by the;Bard of Commissioners May 23, 1921, relating to clerks and deputies in the office of the City Recorder. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Section 1013, Chapter XVI, Revised Ordi- nances of Salt Lake City, 1920, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners May 23, 1921, relating to clerks and deputies in the office of the City Recorder, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SEC. 1013. JPPOINTMEN'TS. DEPUTIES, ASSISTANTS. CLERKS. The Board of Commissioners may appoint in the office of the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, the following deputies, at salaries not to exceed the amounts named: One chief deputy city recorder at a salary not to exceed :42100 per annum. In the absence of or during the disability of the city recorder, the chief deputy city recorder shall exercise all the functions and powers of the city recorder. He shall give a bond to the city in the sum of 41000. One Chief clerk at a salary not to exceed 41,800 per annum. One deputy city recorder, who shall act as deputy clerk of the city court, at a salary not to exceed 42100.00 per annum. One deputy city recorder, who shall act as deputy clerk of the city court, at a salary not to exceed 0.800.00 per annum. One deputy city recorder, who shall act as deputy clerk of the city court, at a salary not to exceed 41680.00 per annum. One deputy city recorder, who shall act as deputy clerk of the city court, at a salary not to exceed *1560.00 per annum. Seven deputy city recorders, who shall act as depu- ty clerks of the city court, at a salary not to exceed 41500 per annum. The Board of Commissioners may employ such clerks, stenographers and other employees as may be necessary for the proper conduct of said office at such salaries as may be de- signated by said Board.
