Result
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER LVII of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, by adding in and to said
Chapter a new Section to be known as Section 1809.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Chapter LVII of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City', Utah, 1920, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding in and to said Chapter a new Section to he known as Sec-
tion 1809, to read as follows:
SECTION 1809. It shall be unlawful for any person
to engage in or carry on any business, profession, trade, vo-
cation or avocation on any street or sidewalk or in or from
any automobile, vehicle, stand or structure located in or upon
the streets or sidewalks of Salt Lake City. Provided, however,
this ordinance shall not prohibit any business or occupation
licensed or permitted under the ordinances of Salt Lake City.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the health, peace and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
