AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXXIII, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, by adding in and to said Chapter a
new section to be known as Section 807, relating to physical exam-
inations of the employees of Salt Lake City.
Be it ordained by the Board. of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Chapter XXXIII, Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding in and to said Chapter a new section to be known as Section
807, relating to physical examinations of the employees of Salt
Lake City, to read as follows:
SEC. 807. (a) Before.a person is eligible fog regular
employment by Salt Lake City he shall present himself to
the Health Commissioner of Salt Lake City or some competent
.i�, physician designated by said Health Commissioner. and submit
1 C� to a physical examination.
(b) The Health Commissioner shall examine such person,
record the result of such examination on a form provided by
Salt Lake City for that purpose and transmit it to the Board
of Commissioners at the time the employment of such person is
considered by it.
(c) Any employee of Salt Lake City may be required
by the Board of Commissioners at any time to submit to physical
examinations as provided in this ordinance.

assistant physician in which event and not otherwise no fet shall'
be paid for such examination by such s.,, icy e .
SECTION 2. In the opinicoi of the Board of Commissioners ,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
