AN ORDINANCE VACATING an alley which runs south from Kensington Avenue mbetween State and Edison Streets. ae WHEREAS, the petition has been received by the Board of Commissioners 0 .by ah abutting property owners of said alley, except one, that said alley be vacated, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners on the 13th day of August, 1959, .conducted a public hearing upon such vacation and heard from all interested parties in this matter, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is satisfied that there is good 2 ycau• sd for such vacation; that such vacation will not be detrimental to the m-gener'ai interest and that it should be made. ro • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Salt $Lake :City, Utah: !SECTION 1. That the alley running south from Kensington Avenue between [State, and Edison Streets, be, and the same- hereby is, vacated and declared •Hno longer to be public property for use as a street, alley, avenue or ›pedestrian way: 0 • j "Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1,. Block 4, Capitol Avenue Addition, a subdivision of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 17 and 18, Block 12, 5 Acre Plat "A", Big Field Survey; thence West 15.0 feet; thence North 252.1 feet; thence East 15.0 feet; thence South 252.1 feet to the point of beginning. m $aid vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of way and e.bsements of all public utilities of any and every description now locat1d in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of inspect- ing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them. 4ECTION 2.
