Result AN ORDINANCE An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property within the district bounded on the north by the south side of Bunnyside Avenue, on the east by the center line of Section 9, Township 1 south, Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and lieridie.n, on the south by the south side of Yale Avenue, end on the west by the west side of Thirteenth Last Street, in Paving Districts Nos. 27 and 32, for the purpose of providing for paying the City's portion for the grading, curbing and guttering (where curb and gutter or gutter is not already constructed) , constructing drainage system and paving certain streets in said districts, under written agreement with the owners of the property hereinafter described. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter described in Paving Districts Nos. 27 and 32, for the purpose of providing for paying the City's portion for the grading, curbing and guttering, constructing drainage system, and paving thereof, under written agreement with the owners of the property hereinafter described, to-wit: In Lots 9 to 14, inclusive, Block 13, Fremont Heights Subdi- vision, Block 1, Plat "F", Salt Lake City Survey; 26 and 27, Block 1; 48 to 54, inclusive, Block 2, Douglas Park Second Addition; 11, all in Block 30, 9, Block 29; part of Lot 9, Block 29, all in Five Acre Plat "C", Big Field Survey; 12, and 14 to 28, inclusive, Block I7; 13 to 29, inclusive, Block 6; 29, and 32 to 33, inclusive, and Ij41 to 43, inclusive, Block 5; 1 to 11, inclusive, 16 to 25, inclu- p sive, 29 to 35, inclusive, 38 to 57, inclusive, and 113 to 133, in [ elusive, Block 8; 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9, Block 9; 1, 2, 29 to 41, in- and 44 to 49, inclusive plusiv/Block 20; 44, Block 21; 26 to 49, inclusive, Block 10, 4Douglas Park Amended Plat Subdivision, Section 9, Township 1 south11 Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; part of Lot 40, Block 1., Douglas Park Subdivision, Section 9, Township 1 south, Range 1 eas , 1 j Salt Lake Base and Meridian; part of Block 8, Douglas Park Amended Plat Subdivision, Section 9, Township 1 south, Range 1 east, Salt 1i Lake Base end Meridian, abutting on both sides of Ninth South Btre=t between Thirteenth East Street and Feirview Avenue; on both sides of Fairview Avenue between Ninth South Street and Michigan Avenue; on both sides of Fifteenth East Street between Ninth South Street II and Yale Avenue; and on both sides of Michigan Avenue between Fifteenth East Street and Feirview Avenue. This tax is levied to defray the expense of the City's portio , (under written agreement with the owners of the property hereinsft r described) of the grading, curbing and guttering with cement (wher curb and gutter or gutter is not already constructed) , oonstruotin drainage system to carry water across streets and intersections, a d paving with bitulithic pavement (said pavement to be forty-four (4 ) Ilfeet between curbs on Ninth South and Fifteenth East Streets (curb and gutter already built) ; thirty-six (36) feet between curbs on Fairview Avenue (curb and gutter already built) ; and forty (40) 1 feet between curbs on Michigan Avenue (curb already built on south side of Michigan Avenue) ; and all of said bitulithic pavement to have four (4) inch bituminous macadam foundation and two (2) inch top), the portions of said streets opposite the property herein- before and hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determind and established that said property will be especially benefited I thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said I parcels of land are hereby assessed at en equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon 11 -2- said portions of said streets, fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is sixty-four hundred fourteen and 70/100 (06414.70) dollars, or 9394/10,000 04221 (4`0.9394) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property, there being 6828.51 feet of abutting property within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets above mentioned in said districts, which is the total cost and cost per front foot of said improve- ment, according to the oontraot entered into for the performance of said work and making said improvement, with P. J. Moran, Con- tractor, Incorporated, dated the 25th day of August, 1915, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess, in accords •e with the provisions of this ordinance, for the purpose herein mentioned: Fronting on Ninth South Street: The south side of Lots 10 to 14, inclusive, the south side of the east 24.1 feet of Lot 9, Block 13, Fremont Heights Subdivision Block 1, Plat "F", Salt Lake City Survey; the north side of the east 114.95 feet of the west 131.95 feet of Lot 11, Block 30, Five Acre Plat "C", Big Field Survey; the south side of Lots 12, and 14 to 28, inclusive, Block 7; the south side of Lots 13 to 29, inclu- sive, Block 6; the south side of Lots 29, and 32 to 38, inclusive, and 41 to 43, inclusive, Block 5; the north side of Lots 1 to 11, inclusive, 16 to 25, inclusive, 29 to 35, inclusive, and 38 to 57, inclusive, Block 8, Douglas Park Amended Flat Subdivision, Seotio. 9, Township 1 south, Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 8, Douglas Park Amended Flat Subdivision, thence east 108.99 feet, being part of Section 9, Township 1 south, Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; the north side of Lots 131 and 132, Block 8, Douglas Park Amended Plat Subdivision, Section 9, Township 1 south, Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. -3- -4- II � provided, one or more installments, in the order in whioh they are payable, or the whole special tax unpaid, may be paid on the day any installment becomes due, by paying the amount thereof and interest to said date.
