Greener Hall > Phillips W'' Result Jr AN INANCE AN ORDINANCE VACATING a fifteen-foot alley located on portions of Lots 18 and 19 and a sixteen-foot alley abutting Lots 18 through 29 and Lots 41 through 52 in Block 1 of Perkins Third Addition, Salt Lake City Survey, in the area between 800 and 900 East Street and Logan Avenue and 1700 South Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners find that a 15' and a 16' alley located in Block 1 of the Perkins Third Addition generally situated between 800 and 900 East and Logan Avenue and 1700 South Street, in Salt Lake City, Utah, is not needed for the use of the public as thoroughfare, and that the vacation of such streets and alleys will not be adverse to the general public's interest; THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. The 15' alley presently situated between Lots 18 and 19, and a 16' alley abutting Lots 18 through 29 and Lots 41 through 52 in Block 1 of the Perkins Third Addition, Salt Lake City Survey, located near 825-875 East between Logan Avenue and 1700 South Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly described below, be, and the same hereby are, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for the use as streets, avenues, alleys or pedestrian ways: Beginning at a point at the Northwest corner of ✓ Lot 41, Block 1, Perkins Third Addition, a sub- l p division of a part of Block 15, 5-Acre Plat "A", i2 12 `I$ BFS; thence North 16 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 29, said subdivision; thence East 265 feet, more or less to the West line of a 15 foot alley; thence North along said West line 136 feet; thence East 15 feet to the East line of said alley; thence South 152 feet; thence West 280 feet to the point of beginning. Said vacation is made expressly SUBJECT to all right-of-ways and easements of all utilities of any and every description, now located on, in, under or over the confines of the above-described property and SUBJECT to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of main- taining, altering, repairing, replacing, removing or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
