Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter described in Paving Dis- trict No. 32 (Paving Extension So. 195) for the purpose of grad- ing, constructing drainage system to carry water across and along streets and intersections, curb and gutter, private driveways, installing water services to back of curbs and paving with warren- ite bitulithic pavement thereof, to-wit: Lots 1 and 30 to 58 incl. of Blk. 1, and Lots 1 to 29 incl. of Blk. 2, Yalecrest Park; Blk. 28, 5-Acre Plat "0"; Lota' 6 to 9 incl. of Blk. 2, Upper Yale Park, Blk. 29, 5-Acre Plat "C"; Lots 1 to 29 incl. of Blk. 13, Lots 22, 23 and 24 of Blk. 14, and Lots 27, 28 and 29 of 2 i I I i -2 li of Bik. 19, Douglas Park; also 31k. 22 of Douglas Park, being a part of Biks. 28 and 29, 5- Acre Plat "C" and Sea. 9, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., S. L. B. & M., abutting on both sides of Military Drive from 9th South Street to 17th East 1 Street, 17th East Street from Military Drive to Yale Avenue and Yale Avenue from 17th to 18thnEast Streets, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading, E (constructing drainage system to carry water across and along 1 ;streets and intersections, curb and gutter, private driveways, installing water services to back of curbs and paving with warren- i, 'ite bitulithic Military Drive from 9th South Street to 17th East 'Street, 17th East Street from Military Drive to Yale Avenue and 1 Yale Avenue from 17th to 18th East Streets, said pavemtnt to be ii two (2) inch 'Narrenite bitulithic wearing surface on a three (3) ;inch bituminous concrete base, and said roadway to be thirty-six (36) feet wide on Military Drive from 9th South Street to 17th East Street and 17th Eadt Street from Military Drive to Yale Ave- nue, and thirty (30) feet wide on Yale Avenue from 17th to 18th East Streets; the portions of said streets opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected !and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, de- 1 jtermined and established that said property will be especially ;benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon and to the Ijentire depth back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is Twenty-five Thousand Four ,Hundred Eighty-four and 68/100 ( 25,484.68) Dollars; Fifteen 1Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-eight and 22/100 ($15,568.22) Dollars for Seven and 60/100 ($7.60) Dollars per front or linear foot of i • abutting property for said thirty-six (36) foot roadway, there be- 1 ling 2,048.45 feet abutting said portion of said improvement; Nine !Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-four and 06/100 ( i9,794.06) Dollars E r E -J for Six and 70/100 ( 6.70) Dollars per front or linear foot of abutt,ing property for said thirty (30) foot roadway, there being 11,461.80 feet abutting said portion of said improvement; Thirty land 00/100 430.00) Dollars for private driveways, there being lone (1) private driveway at Thirty ( 30.00) Dollars per driveway; (Ninety-two and 40/100 ( p92.40) Dollars for water services, there eing six (6) water services at Fifteen and 40/100 ( 15.40) Dol- !lars for each water service, the cost of installing which water services and the cost of construction of which driveway, and the property benefited thereby is hereinafter set out, and all within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets above mentioned in said district, which is the total abutters' cost and cost per front (foot of said improvement, according to the contract entered into for the performance of said work and making said improvement with !Gibbons & Reed Co., Contractor, dated the 8th day of October, 1925, ;and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess, accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, for the pur- pose herein mentioned: THIRTY-SIX FOOT ROADWAY. The easterly side of Lots 1 to 28 incl., the easterly side of the northerly 6.78 ft. of Lot 29, of Blk. 13, Douglas Park, being a part of Blks. 28 and 29, 5 Acre Plat C and Sec. 9, T. 1 8., R. 1 F.., S. L. B. & Ivi.; the east side of 31k. 22, Doug- ! las Park, being a part of 31ks. 28 and 29, 5 Acre Plat C and Sec. i9, T. 1 S., R. 1 3., S. L. 3. & IMI.; the east side of Lots 6 to 9 Incl. of Blk. 2, Upper Yale Park, Elk. 29, 5 Acre Plat C; the Iwesterly side of Lots 22, 23 and 24 of Elk. 14, the westerly side !of Lots 27, 28 and 29 of 31k. 19, Douglas Park, being a part of Blks. 2.8 and 29, 5 Acre Plat C and Sec. 9, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., S.L. 13. & M.; the west side of Lots 1 & 58 of Blk. 1, Yalecrest Park, IBlk. 2.8, 5- Acre Plat C, Big Field Survey. • THIRTY FOOT ROADWAY. PROPERTY .SSSESSED POR PRIVATE DRIVEWAYS IN ADDITION TO REGULAR ASSESSMENT. . SO.00 per driveway. The west side of Lots 1 and 58, Blk. 1, Yalecrest Park, Blk. 28, 5-Acre Plat,C, Big Field. Survey. PROPERTY ASSESSED POE WATER SERVICES IN ADDITION TO THE REGULAR ASSESSMENT. The East side of Bak. 22, the westerly side of Lots 28 and 2.9 of Blk. 19, Douglas Park, being a part of Biks. 28 & 29, '5-Aore Plat 0, and Sec. 9 T. 1 S., R. 1 E., S. L. 3. & M., and the east side of Lots 6, 7 & 8 of Blk. a, Upper Yale Park, Blk. 29, 5-Acre Plat G, Big Field Survey; as the same are shown upon the official plats of said city to the entire depth back from said Streets, and to collect said tax. SECTION II. That the assessment list made by the City 'Treasurer as corrected, approved and completed by the Board of Equalization and Review of the property described in Section I of this ordinance in Paving Extension 195, of Salt Lake City, for the purpose of grading, constructing drainage system to carry water across and along streets and intersections, curb and gutter, private driveways, installing water services to back of curbs and paving with warrenite bitulithic thereof, is hereby confirmed and the assessments made and returned in said completed lists, an the report of the Board of Equalization and Review to the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. SECTION III. Said tax shall be payable in ten equal „ yearly installments as provided by law and ordinance with inter- est. on the whole sum unpaid at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable at the time each installment is due. In the event any in- I. 1 I ; ' C I � 4 -5- 1 ,stallment or the interest aforesaid is not paid on the day the (same becomes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at Ithe time said installment and interest are due, shall become due I land payable, and shall draw interest at the rate of twelve per I ',cent per annum until the sale of the property assessed. SECTION IV.
