AN ORDINANCE VACATING a portion of 9th North Street
and part of Monroe Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That a portion of 9th North Street and

part of Monroe Avenue in Salt Lake City, Utah, and more particu-
larly described as follows:

Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 170,
Plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey; thence westerly along
the line of the north sides of Blocks 170 and 171 of
said Plat A and the north sides of Blocks 109 and 110,
Plat "C", Salt Lake City Survey, a distance of 2475.59
feet, to a point on the north side.of said Block 110, said
6 point being 100 feet we Qs+ef the northeast corner of said

Said vacation is made expressly subject to the right of
sway of the Utah Light & Traction Company acquired under franchise
(from Salt Lake City to maintain, repair, alter, and/or replace thel
electric transmission, distribution and telephone circuits of the
Utah Light & Traction Company and twelve poles, together with the

Also subject to perpetual easement in Salt Lake City for
the maintenance, repair or replacement of any water mains or extent
I sions thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,)
it is necessary to the health, peace and safety of the inhabitants;
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effectively immediate .y.
SECTION 3. this ordinance shall take effect upon its
publication.

Said vacation is made expressly subject to the right
of way of the Utah Light & Traction Company adquired under franchise
from Salt Lake City to maintain, repair, alter, and/or replace the
electric transmission, distribution and telephone circuits of the
Utah Light &Traction Company and twelve poles, together with the
necessary steps, cross-arms and other attachments thereon or
affixed thereto for the support of said circuits as now erected and
maintained along and upon the section of.street to be closed during
the life of that certain franchise heretofore granted by Salt
Lake City to said Utah Light & Traction Company on the 21st day of
December, 1914, or any extensions thereof.
And also subject to the easement of the Mountain States

of said street or avenue.
