AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 G7 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 19f;0, as amended ay an
ordinance passed by the Board. of Commissioners of Salt Lake City
on January ,4, 1927, as amenued by an ordinance pas-ed by the
Board of Commissioners on January 4th, 1.99 8, relating to licenses
Be it ordained by the Board. of Commis-ioners of `alt
Lake City, Utah
SECTION I That Section 1 Z7 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by an ordinance passed
by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City on January c4,

3927, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commission-
ers on January 4th, 1928, relating, to licenses, be and the same
i, hereby amended by adding at the end of said Section 1`37, the
following new paragraph
1JThe license tax for each vehicle shall be the same
for any part of a year as for a full year, except that li-
censes may be issued after the first day of July for the
unexpired portion of the year upon payment of half the full
yearly rate herein required n
SECTION 2 In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the health, peace. and safety of the inhabitants
of calt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediate]y
