Mr.Chairman AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE VACATING Prospect Street, south of Ninth South, all abutting property owners having petitioned for the vacation. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah; SECTION 1: That Prospect Street, south of Ninth South, more particularly described as follows, be and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 90, Third Burlington Addition, said corner also being the Southeast corner of gth South and Prospect Streets, thence South along the East side of Prospect Street 117.24 feet to the North right of way line of the S.P.L.A. & S.L.R.R.; thence Westerly along said right of way line 66.53 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 121 of said Burlington Third Addition; thence North along the west side of Prospect Street 103.86 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 121, said corner also being the Southwest corner of 9th South and Prospect Streets; thence East 66 feet to the place of beginning. Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately.
