AN ORDINANCE VACATING a portion of an alley in the vicinity of
High Avenue at 1556 West Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, and relocated
approximately 10 feet west.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt ?Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That a portion of an alley in the vicinity'bf High
Avenue at 1556 West Street`in Salt Lake City, Utah, mere particularly
described as follows, be, and the same hereby is vacated and declared
no longer for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way, and
is relocated approxmately 10 feet west.
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 21, Block 1,
Utah Southern Addition, a subdivision of part of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 1 South,
Range 1 West, Salt Lake Meridian and running thence
S. 89°55'56" W. 10.00 feet; thence N. 0°04'04" W. 54.09 /
feet; thence N. 10°22'O5" E. 55.21 feet; thence S.
0° 04'04" E. 108.38 feet to the point of beginning. i
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of
way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description
now located on, in, under or over the confines of the above-described
property, if any, and also subject to the rights of entry thereon f.or
the purpose of maintaining, altering, repairing, replacing, removing
or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 2nd day of January, 1979.
