Result AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance amending Section 918x4 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to employment of attendants,
clerks and employees in the Department of Parks and Public property,
as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City February 2, 1914.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 918x4 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to employment of attendants, clerks
and employees in the Department of Parks and Public Property, as
amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, February 2, 1914, be, and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 918x4. The Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City may employ the following attendants, clerks and employees
in the Department of Parks and Public Property, to-wit:
One Assistant Superintendent of Parks and Public Property
at a salary of not exceeding 0.200.00 per year, payable
monthly.
It shall be the duty of the Assistant Superintendent of
Parks and Public Property to assist the Superintendent of
Parks in the supervision of the work, care)maintenance, improve-
ment and beautifying of all parks and public property in Salt

Lake City not under the control, oars end supervision of some
other department of said City; and shall do and perform such
other services as shall be required. of him by the Board of
Commissioners , the Commissioner of Parks end l'ublio Property
and the Superintendent of Parks and Public Property.
One florist at a salary of not exceeding 61200.00 per
year.
One clerk at a salary of not exceeding 6900.00 per year,
and such numbers of supervisors of play grounds, and at such
salaries, and for such term as the Board of Commissioners
shall determine. Said Board may also employ such other
employees and laborers and furnish and provide such equi.pmen•
as may be necessary for the proper care, maintenance, improv=-
ment and beautifying of such parks and public property.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions, or parts of ordi
nances and resolutions in oonflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
