Result AN ORDINANCE
An Ordinance amending Section 776 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1913, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners, July 31st, 1917, relat-
ing to organization of the Fire Department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 776 of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, 1913, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners July 31st, 1917, relat-
ing to organization of the Fire Department be, and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 776. The Fire Department of Salt Lake
City shall consist of the following officers and men, whose
duties and compensations shall be as provided by ordinance:
one Chief of Department, one Assistant Chief of Department,
seven Captains, eight Lieutenants, one Superintendent Fire
and Polioe alarm, one Master Meohanie, one Inapeotor, one
Seoretary, eighty-one Firemen of three grades, to-wit;
First Grade, Seoond Grade and Third Grade, and such adds..
tional employees and at such compensation as the Board of
Commissioners shall from time to time authorize.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect June 30th,
1919.
