Romney ..a..-rr- Tedesco 'A Mr. Chairman . . AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE LIMITS OF SALT LAKE CITY. WHEREAS, on October 1, 1943, mantis R. Pyke and others (being a majority of the owners of real property situated in the tract hereinafter described) signed and filed with the City Recorder y-r _, of Salt Lake City a petition requesting that said tract of land be taken within the limits of said city, and also caused an accurate map to be made and certified to by a competent surveyor and ap- proved by the City Engineer; and WHEREAS, the said tract of land is contiguous to Salt Lake City and there is no proper reason why it should not be annexed to and made a part of said city; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, after examining said petition of said owners of said tract of land, and considering the circumstances thereof, voted by unanimous vote of said board in favor of annexing said tract of land to Salt Lake City, and directed the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance making and declaring said annexation. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Commission- ers of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the city limits of Salt Lake City be and the same are hereby extended and enlarged so as to include the fol- lowing described tract of land in Salt Lake County, to-wit: 20 Beginning at a point 165 ft. east of the northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 6, 5-Acre C, Big r'ield Survey, thence North 2,009.7 ft. to a point 165 ft. East of the Southwest corner of Lot 11, said Block 6, thence S. 89° 52' E. 2178 ft. to the Southeast corner of Lot 11, Block 5, 5 Acre C, thence N. 0" 05' 50u E. 518.56 ft. to a point 165 ft. North of the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 16, 5 Acre C, thence East 329.0 ft. more or less to the West line of Foothill Drive, thence along said line S. 33° 15' E. 621 ft. more or less, thence around a 5,679.7 ft. radius curve to the right 626.17 ft., thence S. 26° 561 E. -2- 2,236.83 ft. more or less to the point of intersection with the south line of 21st South St., thence test 958.45 ft., thence N. 0° 10T E. 1376 ft., thence N. 89° 331 W. 800 ft., thence S. 0° 101 W. 1091.0 ft., thence N. 89° 331 W. 1000 ft. to the East line of 23rd East St., thence North 227.03 ft., thence West 1419.0 ft. to the point of beginning containing 161.8 acres more or less and being part of Sections 15 and 22, T. 1 S., R. i E., S. L. B. & M. and that the same has been correctly staked out upon the ground as shown upon the map. SECTION 3.
