AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administra-
tion Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated December
28, 1972, as adopted by Bill No. 65 of 1973, amending Section 25-4-5
of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by deleting
therefrom the non civil service position of Assistant Director-Central
City Community Center in Pay Class 13 and adding thereto the non civil
service positions of Assistant Director-Central City Community Center
in Pay Class 17, Assistant Program Coordinator-Central City Community
Center in Pay Class 10 and the civil service positions of Evidence
Room Technician I in Pay Class 15-17 and Evidence Room Technician II
in Pay Class 20.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
Section 1. That the "Recommended Wage and Salary Administration
Program for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated December 28,
1972, as adopted by Bill No. 65 of 1973, amending Section 25-4-5 of
the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, be, and the
same hereby is amended as follows:
(a) By deleting therefrom the non civil service position of
Assistant Director-Central City Community Center in Pay Class 13 under
the title covering "Managerial and Professional" employees.
(b) By adding thereto the non civil service position of Assistant
Director-Central City Community Center in Pay Class 17 under the title
covering "Managerial and Professional" employees.
(c) By adding thereto the non civil service position of Assistant
Program Coordinator-Central City Community Center in Pay Class 10
under the title covering "Clerical and Technical" employees.
(d) By adding thereto the civil service position of Evidence Room
Technician I in Pay Classes 15-17 equivalent to Patrolman under the
title covering "Group III (Police and Fire Departments)" employees.

(e) By adding thereto the civil service position of Evidence
Room Technician II in Pay Class 20 equivalent to Sergeant under the
title covering "Group III (Police and Fire Departments)" employees,
said position requiring five years' experience as Evidence Room
Technician I.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first pub-
lication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake Cit , Utah,
this 27th day of Febrtnry , 1974.
