Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 51-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to the regulation of building permits, be, and the same hereby is amended by ADDING subsection 513 which shall read as follows: Sec. 51-4-5B. East Central Neighborhood. No building permit for the purpose of demolition, addition, reconstruction, altera- tion or new construction of any premise within the East Central Neighborhood, shall be issued by the building inspector prior to three (3) months from the effective date of this ordinance, unless said permit proposes a building or other structure that conforms to the density and other zoning regulations applicable to an "R-5A" use district classification. The East Central Neighborhood district shall include the area within the following boundaries, to-wit: Beginning at the intersection of 200 South Street and 1100 East Street and running thence east along ,the middle of 200 South Street to an imaginary line corresponding to the rear pPgefrtxine of all pro- perties having frontage on' ouglas°Street; thence running south along said imaginary line to the middle of 600 South Street; thence running west along 600 South Street to middle of 1100 East; thence running north along 1100 East to the middle of 400 South Street; thence running west along 400 South Street to the middle of 1000 East Street; thence running north along 1000 East Street to the middle of 300 South Street; thence running east along 300 South Street to the middle of 1100 East Street; thence running north along 1100 East Street to the point of beginning on 200 South Street. Said moratorium shall extend for a period of three (3) months from the effective date of this ordinance. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3.
