Green Neslen -- Scheid Mr. Chairman Result -._-_- j AN ORDINANCE An ordinance amending Section 682 of Chapter 17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to the appointments in the office of the City Treasurer, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, August 8, 1916. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 682 of Cahpter 17 of the devised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to appointments it the office of the City Treasurer, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners august 8, 1916, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: SECTION 682. The Board of Commissioners may appoint and employ one deputy treasurer at a salary not exceeding 42100.00 per annum, and such other assistants, clerks and employees as may be necessary for the proper conduct of said office, at such salaries as the Board may designate. The deputy treasurer shall give a bond to the City in the sum of 410,000.00, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties and the proper accounting of all funds and moneys comin into his hands or under his control. The Board of Commissioners may require any-employee of the treasurer's office to give bond in such amount as 4 it may designate. SJCTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect April 1, 1918.
