An ordinance amending Section 274 of Chapter 8, Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to buildings.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That section 274 of Chapter 8, Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake, 1913, relating to buildings, be, and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 274. Class "B" buildings are defined as
those having a frame reinforced concrete carrying all wall
and floor loads. All structural parts shall be of incom-
bustible material. Walls shall be of brick, stone or reinforc-
ed concrete. The maximum limit of height of Class "B" build-
ings shall be 125 feet, and they may be built anywhere in the
pity.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the health, peace and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shal take effect upon its
first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
May 19th , 1919.
