Fehr Finch Moran Mr.Chairman - - - Result AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1165, Revised Ordinances of Balt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 27, 1926, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 19, 1926, relating to the Fire Department. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah; SECTION I. An ordinance amending Section 1165, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners on August 18, 1921, December 14, 1922, April 27, 1926 and July 19, 1926, relating to the Fire Department, to read as follows: SEC. 1165. ORGANIZATION BED SALARIES. The fire de- partment of Salt Lake City shall consist of the following officers, whose salaries shall be as fixed by the Board of Commissioners within the limits specified as follows; Chief of Department, not to exceed 0,600.00 Assistant Chief, II If 2,520.00 Battalion Chief, 11 It 2,340.00 Secretary, i1 II 1 920 00 Captains, II If II 2,040.00 Lieutenants, " f r 1,920.00 Superintendent of fire and police alarm, not to exceed 2 400 00 Firemen of first grade, not less than 1,740.00 Nor more than 2,400.00 Firemen of second grade, not less than 1,620.00 Nor more than 1,740.00 Firemen of third grade, not less than 1,500.00 Nor more than 1 620 00 2. G Inspectors, deputy de ut fire marshals, master mechanic, : and firemen mechanics shall be graded as captains, lieuten- ants or firemen of the first, second and third grade. • SECTION 2.
