AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18-1-9 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah,_.1955, relating to organization and salaries of the
Health Department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1: That Section 18-1.-9 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1955, relating to the organization and salaries of the Health
Department insofar as the same pertains to Senior Bacteriologist, First
Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, and Fourth Grade and Probationers, and
Junior Bacteriologist, First Grade and Second Grade and Probationers, be,
gnd the same hereby is, amended so that the salaries of the said Senior
and Junior Bacteriologists, are hereby fixed not to exceed the following
amounts:

C\i Senior Bacteriologist, Second Grade 4464.00
Senior Bacteriologist, Third Grade 440 .00
Senior Bacteriologist, Fourth Grade and Probationers 4284.00

The salaries above fixed shall be effective as of March 15, 1956.
SECTION 2: In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is nec-
essary to the peace, health and safety, of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance shall become effective immediately.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publica-
tion.
