Commissioners on May 16, 1939, and designated as bill No. 2O, wherein

an alley therein vacated was erroneously referred to as located in

Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
il4 SECTION 1. That an ordinance passed by the Board of Commis-
sioners on May 16, 1939, and designated as bill No. 20, is hereby amend-
ed to read as follows:
"That alley immediately west of Block 14, Sunny side

),` the Northwest Guarter of Section 10, T. 1 S., P. 1 E., S. L. B.

S\ & M., more particularly described as follows:

4 Beginning at the N.V.Corner of Lot 3, Block 14, Sunny-
side Park in the N.W. 114 of Section 10, T. 1 S., S. 1 E., S.L.
B. & M., thence south 334.55 ft., thence west 10 ft., thence
north 334.55 ft., thence east 10 ft. to the place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
�t way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights
of way and easements of the Mountain States Telephone and Tele-
graph Company acquired under franchises from Salt Lake City to
maintain, repair, alter and replace the electric transmission,
distribution of telegraph and telephone circuits, lines and under-
ground wires and telephone cables of said company, as now exist-
ing and maintained underground, upon and across the portion of
said alley to be closed, during the life of the franchise held
by said company, or any extension thereof. "

SECTION 2. In the opinion of the board of Commissioners,
;it is necessary to the health, peace and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective i.rznediately.
SECTION F. This ordinance shall. take effect upon its
