AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 30-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as amended by Bill No. 9 of 1962, relating to the Organization and Salaries of Officers and Employees in the Police Department. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1 . That Section 30-1-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as amended by Bill No. 9 of 1962, relating to the organization and salaries of officers and employees in the Police Department be, and the same hereby is, amended with respect to the items therein relating to the salaries of Administrative Secretary Grade I and Grade II , to read as follows: "Administrative Secretary: Grade II - $6,000.00 Grade I $6,600.00; provided, however, the salary of said Administrative Secretary Grade II , after 24 months of service from the effective date of this ordinance may be in- creased to $6,420.00, and the salary of said Administrative Secretary Grade I , after 24 months of service from the effective date of this ordinance may be increased to $7,020.00, and provided further after seven years of service in this capacity from the effective date of thisordinance the salary of Admini- strative Secretary Grade II may be increased to $6,600.00 and the salary of Administrative Secretary Grade I may be increased to $7,200.00, upon recommendation of the Chief of Police." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect May 1 , 1962.
