AN ORDINANCE VACATING part of 6th South Street, 10th West Street,
Arapahoe Avenue, Glendale Street and a 15 foot alley in Block 21,
Jordan Place Subdivision.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That a part of 6th South Street, 10th West Street,
Arapahoe Avenue, Glendale Street and a 15 foot alley in Block 21, '
Jordan Place Subdivision, more particularly described as follows, be,
and the same hereby are, vacated and declared no longer to be public
property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way:
Beginning at a point in the north line of 7th South Street,
said point being 38.14 feet North 32°33'53" East from the
southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 6, J. H. Whalon's Addition;
a subdivision of part of Section 11, T1S, R1W, SLB&M; and
running thence North 32°33'53" East 110.25 feet; thence
North 35°31'44" East 17.21 feet; thence North 32°33'53" East
148.39 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 29, said Block 6,
J. H. Whalon's Addition; thence South 89°57'26" West 41.10
feet to the west line of the New Jordan River Channel; thence
northerly along the arc of a curve to the left (radius 555.00
feet, bearing North 78°00'03" West) 59.72 feet; thence North
2°41'08" West 1.39 feet to the north line of Arapahoe Avenue;
thence North 89°57'37" East 118.76 feet to the west line of
Tenth West Street; thence North 0°03'33" West 404.60 feet to

Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights
of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every descrip-
tion now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above
described property, and also subject to the rights of entry thereon
for the purpose of maintaining, repairing, replacing, removing,
altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
