Be it ordtd" nd by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City does hereby levy the tax end provide for the assessment of the came upon the property hereinafter described in Paving Diettict lie. 00, for the purpose of providing for the grading, guttering and curbing, thereof, constructing drainage system, cement stairs, and cement sidewalks therein, to-sit: In Lots 3 and 4, Block 43; 1 and 2, Block 70, Plat "D"; 9 and 10, Block 4, Plat "I", all in Salt Lake City Survey; and in Section 31, Township 1 north, Range 1 east, Salt Lake Base and meridian, abutting on both sides of Fourth Avenue bepteun Canyon Road e.nd A Street. This tax is levied to defray the ex ,enee of grading (said gr::ding to be thirty (30) feet between curbs) , guttering end curbing with cement, constructing drainage system in middle of street, of eight inch cement and vitrified pipe, constructing cement stairs in center of street midway between Canyon Road and A Street (said stairs to be six (6) feet wide) , and constructing cement sidewalks five (5) feet wide and four (4) inches thick, with three and one- 226 quarter (34) inch base and three-quarter (4) inch topping, upon the portions of said street opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by Said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab- lished that said property will he especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, end said parcels of lend are hereby assessed et an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back there- from, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is thirty-nine hundred eighty-six and 66/100 (? 3996.66) dollars; five hundred eight and 50/100 ($508.50) dollar:, or two and twenty-six (02.26) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property for thirty foot roadway, with curb and gutter an. walk built, there being 225 feet abutting said portion of said im- provement; one hundred sixty-eight and 30/100 (;;;166.30) dollars, o three and 6/100 (e3.06) dollars per front or linear foot of abut- ting property for thirty foot roadway, with curb and gutter built, there being 55 feet abutting said portion of said improvement; and thirty-three hundred nine and 86/100 (0309.66) dollars, or four and 31/100 ( 4.31) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property for thirty foot roadway, there being 767.95 feet abutting said portion of said improvement, within the boundaries of the lot:, blocks and street above mentioned in said district, which is the total cost and cost per front foot of said improvement, according to.the contract entered into for the performance of said work and making said improvement, with G. A.
