Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Ii SECTION 1. That Section 706 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt 11 LalB City be, and the same hereby is amended so as to read as follows: SECTION 706. OBSTRUCTIONS. It shall be unlawful for any person to place upon any street or sidewalk: Ili ��.,.,�.„�...,..,..�,...•,�., � , first. Any broken wars, gl Y th, rubbish, refuse 11 matter, ice, wa ,,_garbage, ashes, tin cans or other like su es. � �... ��,.. . Second. Any wagons, lumber, wood, boxes, fences or fenc- ing or building material, dead trees, tree stumps, merchandise or other tkings which shall obstruct such street or any part If thereof, or the free use and enjoyment thereof, or the free passage over and upon the same, or any part thereof, without the express permission of the City Council, and then only in accordance with the strict terms of such permission. Third. Any show case, movable window, table, stand, bench, or rack for the holding or display of goods or merchan- il dise or for any other purpose, or any window, structure, or part of any building, either movable or stationary, or any post, pillar or door step, or any thing, object, device or material, of any nature or description, which obstructs or interferes with the free and open use by the public of any part of such street or sidewalk, without the express permission of f i the City Council, and then only in accordance with the strict terms thereof. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3.
