Green bin 0 Mr. Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE i AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX and for the assessment of property on 6th South, 12th to 13th West, ArapahoeAvenue from Concord Street to Navajo Street; Seventh and Eighth South Streets from 11th to 12th West Streets; Navajo Street from 6th South to Arapahos APenueand 11th West Street from 7th South to Indiana Avenue, in Sewer District No. 2 (Sewer Extension No. 377), for the purpose of constructing a sewer. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of C ortmis s ione rs of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property hereinafter described in Sewer District No. 2, (Sewer Extension No. 377), far the purpose of omstruoting a sewer, to-mit: In Lots 1 to 9 inoi. of Blk. 17; Lot 16 of Blk. 24, Jordan Place Sub., Lots 129, 130 & 131, 171 to 182 incl., 64, 65, 96, 97, 81, 112, 97 to 112 incl. , 113 to 128 incl.zentx300t of Poplar P1. Sub., being a part of Secs. 2 & 3, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S.L.B.& M., Lots 21 to 40 incl. of Blk. 15, Lots 21 to 31 incl. , Lots 1 to 20 inal. , of Blk. 16, Lots 21 to 40 incl. and Lot 1 of Blk. 9, Lots 40 and 1 to 20 incl. of Blk. 8, Lots 1 and 21 to 40 incl. of Blk. 1, Poplar Grove Add., being a part of Secs. 10 & 11, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S.L.B.&M. and commencing 661 E. and 60'N. from the S. E. corner of 11 I Lot 1, Blk. 1. Poplar Grove Add.; thence north 930', being part of the N. W. of N. W. of Sec. 11, T. 1 S. , R. 1 W. , I S.L/B.& M., Salt Lake City Survey, abutting on both sides of !; 6th South Street, 12th to 13th West, Arapaho3Avenue from 1 Concord. Street to Navajo Street; 7th and 8th South Streets from llth to 12th West Streets; Navajo Street from 6th South to Arapahoe.Avenue ard. llth West Street from 7th South to Indi Avenue. This tax is levied to defray the expense of construct ing a vitrified and o mcrete pipe from eight (8) inches in diameter to twenty-one (21) inches in diameter, upon the par- tions of said streets opposite the property hereinbefore and IIhereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited. by said improvement and it is hereby adjudged., determined and established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of said streets fronting upon and to the entire depth of said paroels of land bank therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is Twenty- eight Thousand., One Hundred One and 11/100 ( 2B,101.11) Dollars or Four and 49/100 44.49) dollars par front or linear foot of abutting property for half rate without curb connections, there being 6258.60 feet abutting said improvement, which is the total oast and cost per front foot of said sewers according to the contract entered into for the performance of said work and making said improvement with R. E. Campbell, dated. the llth ii' ;day of October, 1920, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized. W. a of Sec. 11, T. 1 S., R. 1 W., S.L.B.Bc M., fj Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said city to the entire depth of said parcels of land and to collect said tax. SECTION II. Said tax s ha 11 b ec one and be delinquent in five equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum unpaid at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable at -3-. :.r Ii the time eaoh installment is due, to-wit; One-fifth thereof one year after the ordinance o cnfirming the levy of the tax for the payment for suoh improvement becomes effective; one- � fifth thereof in twa years after said ordnance becomes effeetiv ; one-fifth thereof in three years after said ordinance becomes e - fective; one-fifth thereof in four years after said ordinance becomes effective; and one-fifth thereof in five years after said ordinance becomes effective. One or more of said install- ments, in the order in which they are payable, or the whole special tax, may be paid at any time within ten (10) days after the ordinance oanfirmdng the levy of the tax becomes effective, without interest. In the event of any installment or the inter est aforesaid not being paid on the day the same becomes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid et the time said installment and interest are due, shall become due and payable, A and shall draw interest at the rate of eight per cent par annum until the sale of the property assessed; provided, one or more installments, in the order in which they are payable, or the whole special tax unpaid, may be paid on the day any installmeh, becomes due, by paying the amount thereof mad interest to said date.
