AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 510 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to beer.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 510 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to beer, be and the same
is hereby amended by adding in and to said section a new paragraph
to be known as paragraph 7 and which paragraph 7 shall read as
follows:
"(7) It shall he unlawful for any person under the
age of 21 years to enter or be in or about a licensed premises as
herein defined or to drink beer or any intoxicating liquor in
such premises."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take of t upon its
first publication.
