0 WHEREAS, on the 13th`day.of January, 1954, there was filed with
4 the City Recorder of Salt Lake City, Petition No. 30 of 1954 by Capson-

examining said petition of said owners of said tract of land and considering

the circumstances thereof voted by unanimous vote of all members of said
4 v% Board in favor of annexing said tract of land to Salt Lake City and directed

THEREFORE, be it ordained by p.d NOW, the Boapd of Commissioners of

c4 Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the city limits of Salt Lake City he and the same
are hereby extended and enlarged so as to include the following described
tract of land in Salt Lake County, to-wit: Mountair Annex //1, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point North 720.4 feet and guest 970.14 feet
and North 89° 40' West 1609.30 feet from the center of Section
28, T1S, R1E, SLB&M, said point also being located S 89° 40'
East 42.29 feet from a City Monument in Highland Drive, and
running thence S 89° 40' East 140.0 feet; thence South 145.45
feet; thence N 89° 40, West 168.56 feet; thence North 15' 21,
of 151.07 feet; thence S 89° 40' E 60.54 feet to the point of
beginning.
AHD BE IT FURTHER ORDAnED that the whole of the above described

property be and is hereby zoned as Residential "B-3" District.
AdD BE IT ITURTIM ORDAIPtD and declared that when this
ordinance takes effect the said tract of land above described shall
thenceforth be within the corporate limits of said Salt Lake City
and zoned as Residential "B-3" District as in the ordinance provi-
ded, and all ordinances, jurisdictions, rules, and obligations of
or pertaining to said Salt Lake City are extended over and made
applicable and pertinent to the said tract of land, and the street ,
clocks, alleys and ways of said tract-shall be controlled and
governed by the ordinances, rules and regulations of said City in
that behalf and the monuments of the City ]':nc:ineer shall thence-
forth be taken therein, as the standards of locations and distances.
SiCTIODT 2. Upon :the passage of this ordinance the City
Recorder of Salt Lake..-City shall file and she is hereby directed
to file with' the ,County Recorder of Salt Lake -County, a copy of
the map or plat abtf.Ve mentioned duly certified and acknowledged,
as provided in such messes, together with a certified copy of this
ordinance.
SrCTION 3. ]:n the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it
is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective
immediately.
SECTION LT. This ordinance shall take effect at once upon
its first publication.
