/ AN ORDINANCE
Result —
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries
of Use Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing boundaries of the
Use Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and to
said section a new paragraph, to be known as Item 9, as follows:
"ITEM 9. The following described real property in Residential
tR-6r classification, as Blown on the Use District Map, is hasby
changed to Business tB-31 classification and the Use Map is hereby
amended and changed accordingly:
"Commencing at a point 140.25 feet South and 165 feet
East of the Southeast corner of the intersection of Sixth North
and Second West Streets; thence running East 330 feet; thence
South 288.75 feet; thence West 330 feet and thence North
'288.75 feet to the Owe of beginning, said parcel being a
part of Lot 139, Plat 14 Salt Lake City Survey"
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to
show the above described tract of land as part of Business "B-3" District
Classification.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 4th day of February , 1960.
