property in Paving District No. 32'(Paving Lxtension No. 212)
for the purpose of removing present concrete pavement and paving
I7ermony Court from 6th.6outh •Street south 330 feet. '
Be it. ordained by the )oard of Commissioners of bait
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the Soard of commissioners of Salt Lake
City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of
the same upon. the property hereinafter described in Caving Dis-
trict No. 32 (Paving Jxtension _io. 212) for the purpose of removing
present concrete pavement and paving with Portland cement concrete
thereof, to-wit:
Lot 6, of Blk. 17, ?lat "B", Salt Lake City
Survey, abutting on both sides of Harmony Court from
6th South Street south 330 feet, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of removing
present concrete pavement and paving with Portland cement con-
crete (said pavement to be fourteen and 7/10th (14.7) feet in
width and seven (7) inches thick) the portions of said court
opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter described to
be especially benefited and affected by said improvement, and it
is hereby adjudged, determined and established that said property
will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax
hereb;,• levied and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an

at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot
IIfronttage upon and to the entire depth back therefrom, end the tax
hereby lavied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is
Two Thousand Four ,Hundred ninety,and 89/100 ( E490.89) Dollars ;
or Three and 71/100 (.43.71) Dollars per front or linear foot of
abutting property for said fourteen and 7j10ths (14.7) foot road-
way, there being 671.4 feet abutting said portion of said improve
ment; and the property benefited thereby is hereinafter set out,
and all within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets above
mentioned in said district, which is the total abutters' cost and
(cost per front foot of said improvement, according to the contract
jlentered into for the performance of said work and making said im-
provement with Enoch Smith, Contractor, dated October 20, 1927,
IIiand the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess,
Ijin accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose
'herein mentioned.
FOURTEEN AND /l0ths (14.7) foot ROADWAY.
The east side of the west 74.5 ft. of the north 303.5
t. of Lot 6, the west side of the east 74.8 ft. of the north 303.
IIft. of Lot 6, of Blk. 17; Plat 'B", Salt Lake City Survey; begin-
ning at a point 74.5 ft. east and 303.5 ft. south from the N.W.
por. of Lot 6, 61k. 17, flat "B", thence 15.7 ft. around a curve
Ito the right Rad. 10ff thence south 16.5 ft. being a part of Lot
¢; beginning at a point 74.8 ft. west and 303;5 ft. south from the
D.E.Cor. of Lot 6, Blk. 17, Plat B, thence 16.7 ft. around a curve
oo the left dad. 10q., thence south 16.5 ft. being a part of Lot 6;
1311.1 t7'"B", Salt Lake City Survey; as the same are shown upon the
ifficial plats of said city to the entire depth back from said
street and to collect said tax.
SECTION 2. That the assessment list made by the City
'reasurer, as corrected, approved and completed by the Board of

1qualization and Review of the property described in Section I of
his ordinance in Paving Extension No. 212, of s4 t Lake City, for
the purpose of removing present concrete pavement and paving,with

Portland cement concrete said street is hereby confirmed and the
assessments made and returned in said completed lists, and the
report of the Board of Equalization and Review to the Board of
Commissioners of Salt Lake City are hereby ratified, approved and
jjconfirmed.
SECTION 3. Said tax shall be payable in :ten equal year-
ly installments as provided by law and ordinance with interest
on the whole sum unpaid at the rate of six per cent ppr annum, 1
payable at the time each installment is due.. In the. event any
installment or the interest 'aforesaid is net paid on..the day the
same becomes due, the whole. amount of the special tax`unpaid...at
the time said installment'afd interest are due shell' ecome due
Viand payable, and shall drab interest at the rate of twelve per
cent per annum until the sale of the property aesessed.,
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect one day
after its publication.
