AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1702 of an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City on June
11, 1941, designated as bill No. 26, relating to zoning, as
amended by ordinances adding thereto Items 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 1702 or an ordinance passed by
the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City on June 11, 1941,
designated as bill No. 26, relating to zoning, as amended by
ordinances adding thereto Items 1, 2, 3 and 4, be and the same
is hereby further amended by adding in and to said section seven
new paragraphs to be known as Items 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11,
which shall read as follows:
"ITEM 5. The following described real property now zoned
as Residential tA', as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby
changed to Residential 'B-2' district classification, and the
Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly:
Commencing at a point 125 ft. east from the east line
of Redwood Road and 100 ft. north of the north line of 21st
South Street and running thence north on a line 125 ft. east
of the east line of Redwood Road to a point 150 ft. north
of the north ine of Illinois Avenue, thence east along a
line 150 ft. north of the north line of Illinois Avenue to a
point 125 ft. west of Emery Street, thence north to the south
line of the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company's right
of way, thence east to the west line of Emery Street, thence
south along the west line of Emery Street to the south line
of California Avenue, thence east to the west bank of the Jor-
dan River, thence southerly following along the west bank of
the Jordan River to a point 100 ft. north of 21st South Street,
thence west along the line 100 ft. north of 21st South Street
to the place of beginning; excepting therefrom the four (4)
corners fronting and abutting upon the intersection of Navajo
Street and California Avenue and extending back therefrom
125 feet in each direction, which property is classified as
Residential 'B-3' district.
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered

to show the above described tract of land as a part of
Residential 1B-21 District.
ITEM 6. The following described real property now zoned
as Residential IB-31,as shown on the Use District Map, is
hereby changed to Residential 1B-21 district classification,
and the Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accord-
ingly:
The property abutting on the south side of 21st South
Street and extending back therefrom to the south City limits
and extending from the west bank of the Jordan River to a
point 125 ft. east of the east line of Redwood Road, and frok
a point 125 ft. west of the west line of Redwood Road, west
to the west city limits.
The property abutting and fronting upon the north side
of 21st South Street to a depth back 100 ft. therefrom and
extending from the west bank of the Jordan River west to a
point 125 ft. east of Redwood Road.
The property abutting and fronting upon the east side
of Redwood Road and to a depth of 125 ft. back therefrom ex-
tending from a point 425 ft. north from the north line of
California Avenue to a point 150 ft. forth of the north line
of Illinois Avenue, and from the north line of Indiana Ave.
to a point 125 ft. south from the south line of 5th South
Street, and from a point 125 ft. north of the north line of
5th South Street to the south line of Nelson Avenue, and
from the north line of 3rd South Street to the south line
ff the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company1s right-of-
way immediately south of 2nd South Street.
The property fronting and abutting upon the west side
of Redwood Road from a point 425 ft. north of the north line
of California Avenue produced west to a point 150 ft. north
of the north line of Illinois Avenue produced, and from the
north line of Indiana Avenue to a point 100 ft. south of the
south line of 5th South Street and from a point 125 ft. north
of the north line of 5th South Street north to the Los Angeles
and Salt Lake Railroad Companyls right-of-way, immediately
south of 2nd South Street.
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered
to show the above described tracts of land as a part of Resi-
dential 1B-21 District.
ITEM 7. The following described real property now zoned
as Industrial, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby
changed to Residential 1B-21 district classification, and the
Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly:
Commencing at a point 150 ft. north of the north line
of Illinois Avenue and 125 ft. west of the west line of
Emery Streetcand running thence west on a line 150 ft.
north of the north line of Illinois Avenge to a point 125
ft. west of the west line of Redwood Road, 'thence north
along a line 125 ft. west of the west line of Red,✓ood Road
485 ft., thence east to a point 100 ft. east of the east !

east of the east line of Redwood Road to a point 1270 ft.
north of the north line of Illinois Avenue, thence east 700
ft., thence north to the south line of the Los Angeles and

line of Emery St., thence south along a line 125 ft. west
of the west line of Emery St. to the place of beginning.
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered
to show the above described tract of land as a part of Resi-
dential 1B-21 District.
ITEM 8. The following described real property now zoned
as Industrial, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby
changed to Residential tB-3' district classification, and the
Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly:
The property fronting and abutting upon both sides of
Redwood Road and to a depth of 100 ft. back therefrom and
extending from the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Com-
pany's right-of-way near 9th South Street to a point 635 ft.
north of the north line of Illinois Avenue.
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered
to show the above described tract of land as a part of Resi-
dential 1B-31 District.
ITEM 9. The following described real property now zoned
as Unrestricted, as showh on the Use District Map, is hereby
changed to Residential tB-3' district classification, and the
Use District Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly:
The property fronting and abutting on both sides of
Redwood Road and to a depth of 125 ft. back therefrom from
a point 125 ft. south from the south line of North Temple
St. to the south line of 1st South Street.
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered
to show, the above described tract of _land as a part of Residen-
tial 1B-31 District.
ITEM 10. The following described real property now zoned
as Residential tAt, as shown on the Use District Map, is here
by changed to Industrial classification, and the Use District
Map is hereby amended and changed accordingly:
The property bounded on the east by a line 125 ft.
west of the west line of Redwood Road, and on the north by
a line 150 ft. north of the north line of Illinois Avenue
produced, and on the southwesterly side by the Surplus Canal.,..
