AN ORDINANCE Result i AN ORDINANCE AI LADING SECTION 2901 of the Revised Ordi- nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, relating to the Fire Department. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 2901 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 22, 1944; July 3, 1945; February 7, 194 i' January 28, 1947; November 12, 1947; December 15, 1948; May 10, 1949; January 10, 1950; July 11, 1950; and August 8, 1950; relating to the Fire Department, be and the same is hereby further amended to read as follows: "SEC. 2901. ORGANIZATION A ND SALARIES. The Fire Department of Salt Lake City shall consist of the following officers, whose salaries shall be fixed by the Board of Commissioners, within the limits specified as follows: Per Annum. Chief of Department . . . 400.00 Four Assistant Chiefs . . 4740.00 Superintendent of Fire and Police Alarm . 4500.00 Four Battalion Chiefs 1500.00 Captains 14200.00 Lieutenants 3960.00 Firemen, lst Grade 3780.00 All applicants for Firemen, 1st Grade, shall have served fifteen years in the Fire Department. Firemen, 2nd Grade t3600.00 All applicants for firemen, 2nd grade, shall have served ten years in the Fire Department. Firemen, 3rd Grade $3420.00 2- All applicants for firemen, 3rd grade, shall have served five years in the Fire Department. Per Annum.
