CTIONP1901 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as tt nded by ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, relating to the Fire Department. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 2901 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, as amended b7 ordinances passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 22, 1944; July 3, 1945; February 7, 19)46; January 26, 1947; November 12, 1947; December 15, 1948; May 10, 1949; January 10, 1950; July 11, 1950; August 8, 1950; April 3, 1951; June 6, 1951 and March 18, 1952; relating to the Fire Department be and the same is hereby further amended to read as follows: '� "SEC. 2901. ORGANIZATION AND SALARIES. The Fire Department of I. Salt Lake City shall consist of the following officers and employees and no others who, except the Chief, shall be appointed by the appointing power subject to the approval of the Board of City Commissioners from the certified list of the Civil Service Commission. of Salt Lake City for each. such office or position to be filled, and the annual salaries for each such officer or employee shall he fixed by the Board of City Commissioners at not more than the amount hereinafter set forth, to-wit: Per Annum Chief of Department, who shall he head of the Fire Department and the appointing power $6,500.00 4 Assistant Chiefs 5,220.00 Battalion Chiefs 4,600.00 1 Superintendent of Fire and Police Alarms 4,800.00 Captains 4,440.00 Lieutenants 4,1)}0.00 Firemen: 1st Grade 3,960.00 2nd Grade 3,760.00 3rd Grade 3,000.00 -2- L4th Grade _ 3,!!.20.00 5th Grade 3,300.00 6th Grade 3,160.00 Electrician: 1st Grade 3,996,00 2nd Grade 3,02)1.00 Female.
