AN ORDINANCE ECLARING a certain public way known as 9th North
Street running between Redwood Road and 1910 West to be a dedicated
public street.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. . That 900.North running east and west between Redwood
Road and 1910 West, more particularly described as follows, be, and
the same hereby is, dedicated and declared to be public property for
use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 11,
Jordan Plat "A" Subdivision, of Section 27, T.1 N.,
R.1 W., Salt Lake Meridian, said point also being
715.50 feet S. 0°02'13" E. and 23.61 feet N. 89°51'
50" W. of the Salt Lake City Monument at the inter-
section of 1000 North Street and Redwood Road and
running thence S. 0°15'07" W. 66.0 feet to the North-
east corner of Lot 10, Block 8, said subdivision;
thence N. 89°51'50" W. 1722.60 feet to the Northwest
corner of Lot 8, Block 8; thence N. 0°15'07" E. 66.0
feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 3, said Block 11;
thence S. 89°51'50" E. 1722.60 feet to the point of
beginning.
Said dedication is based upon Utah Code Annotated 1953, Section
27-12-89 and upon the fact that said roadway has been used by the public
and maintained by the city since 1935, and the fact that the County
Records show the area as not being taxed since it is a street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first pub-
lication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 9th day of February, 1977.
