Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. Thet the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same ul;on t]s property hereinafter ;described in Sewer District No. 2, for the construction of a sewer, Tito-wit: In Lot 7, Block 21, Plat "A", abutting on both sides of Gregory Court between Sixth South and Seventh South Streets. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a vitri- fied pipe sewer eight (8) inches in diameter upon the portion of said' street opposite the property hereinbefore end hereinafter described Ito be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estbblished that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of lend is four hundred forty-five (,$445.00) dollars, or one ( 1.00) dollar per front or linear foot of abutting property,there being 445 feet of abutting property within the boundaries of the lot, ,lock z>.n6_ street c.bove mentioned in said. iidistriot, which is the total cost and post per front foot of said sewer, according to the contract entered into for the performance of said work and making said improvement, with J. F. Johnson, dated the 6th day of Jenuary, 1911, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned: The south side of the north 83 feet of the west 195 feet of Lot 7, the south side of the north 101 feet of the west 45 feet of the 25 . j -2- east 135 feet of Lot 7, the north side of the south 46 feet of the west 40 feet of the east 165 feet of Lot 7, the north side of the south 55 feet of the west 165 feet of Lot 7, all in Block 21, Plat "A", Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official (plats of said city to a depth.of twenty-five (25) feet back from said I ! street, and to collect said tax. SECTION 2. Said tax ducll become and be delinquent in five equeil yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum unpaid at the rage of six per cent per enrum, payeblc et t:i.a time etch inatllricrt is due, to.-wit: One-fifth thereof one year after the approval of the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax for the payment for such im-1 provement; one-fifth thereof in two years after such approval; one- fifth thereof in three years after such approval; one-fifth thereof ix four years after such approval; and one-fifth thereof in five years after such approval. One or more of said installments, in the order 1 ix which they are payable, or the whole special tax may be paid at arty ! time within thirty days after the approval of the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax, without interest. In the event of any install- 1 ment or the interest aforesaid not being paid on the date the same becomes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at the time said installment and interest are due, shall become due and payable, •; and shall draw interest at the rate of eight per cent per annum untiij the sale of the property assessed; prorided,one or more installments; in the order in whie4t they are payable, or the whole special tax un- i! paid may be paid on the day any installment becomes due, by paying the amount thereof and interest to said date.
