An ordinance amending Section 886x of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to licenses,
as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, May 29, 1917.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lelia
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 886x of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to licenses, as amended by an
ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
May 29, 1917, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read
as follows:
SECTION 886x. It shall be unlawful for any person to
use, operate or run upon the streets of Salt Lake City any
automobile, truck, wagon or vehicle of any kind carrying
garden or farm produce, fruits, butter, eggs, poultry or
other commodities raised or produced by himself, for the
purpose of sale or exchange, without first obtaining a license
for each vehicle so used and operated. The license tax for
the use, operation and running of vehicles on the streets of
Salt Lake City for the purpose herein described shall be
paid annually in advance into the City Treasury in the sums
and according to the schedule following, to-wit:
For a license to run a one horse vehicle for the

oarriage of the articles or commodities above described,
$5.25;
For a license to run a two horse vehicle for the
carriage of the articles or commodities above described,
$6.25;
For a license to run motor vehicles of any descriptions
of the oapaoity Of one ton or less, for the carriage of the
lirticles'or commodities above described, $10.25';
For a license to run motor vehicles of any description'
of the oapaoity of more than one ton and less than three
tone, far the carriage of the articles or commodities abovet
described, $15.25;
For a license to run motor vehicles of any description

of the capacity of more than three tone, for the carriage o$
the articles or commodities above described, $20.25.
A license for any vehicle under the provisions of this
ordinance may be pro-rated, and every vehicle licensed here4
under shall have fastened thereto a metallio plate to be
issued by the License Assessor and Collector under the

provisions of Section 886 of the Revised Ordinances of 1913,
as amended April 9, 1918. 1
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-

flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such confliol.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty-one days

after its passage.
