AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF TITLE 27 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO FEES FOR USE OF FACILITIES, BY ADDING NEW SECTION 27-9-6, RELATING TO SOFTBALL DIAMOND USE FEE. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City: SECTION 1. That Chapter 9 of Title 27 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, as amended, relating to fees for use of facilities, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding new Section 27-9-6, relating to softball diamond use fee, as follows: Sec. 27-9-6. Softball diamond use fee. Any person, organization or group desiring to play the game of softball on any City owned lighted softball diamond shall pay a fee for the use of such diamond according to the following schedule: (1) Without lights no charge (2) With lights $15 per night per diamond (3) Tournament play on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday which requires maintenance work to be performed by a City employee on an over-time basis (a) Without lights $30 per ball diamond per day (b) With lights $45 per ball diamond per night SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its first publication.
