Keyser i./ Murdoch giatpicxx - - - Lee Mr. Chairman 1- AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4709 of the Salt Lake City building Code, 1933 Edition, as amended by an ordinance passed by thA Board of Commissioners on November 21, 1935, re- lating to zoning districts. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Section 4709 of the Salt Lake City Building Code, 1933 Edition, as amended by an ordinance passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 21, 1935, relating' to zoning districts, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: ,SEC. 4709. (A) That in order to designate districts and regulate the location of dwellings, business, trades, industries and the location of buildings erected or altered for spedified uses, Salt Lake City is hereby divided into ten (10) use districts to be known as: Residential nAn District. Residential nA-2n District. 26 Residential "BY District. ,., ;/q Residential nB-20 District. Residential nB-3n District. Residential nCn District. Commercial District. Industrial nBn District. Industrial District. Unrestricted District. The boundaries of said districts, as shown upon the map which was attached /o Section 4709 of the Salt Lake City Building Code, 1933 Edition, andrmade a part thereof, are here- -2- by established, said map being designated as the "Use District Map," and said map and amendments thereto herein made, to- gether with references, notations and other information shown thereon, shall be as much a part of this ordinance as if the information and matters set forth by said map and amendments thereto were fully described herein. Except as hereinafter provided no building shall be erected or altered, nor shall any building or premises be used for any purpose other than is permitted in the use district in which such building or premises is located. (B) That the "Use District Map" described in (A) of this ordinance is hereby amended and altered in the follow- ing particulars, to-wit: Item 1. A new district known as Residential "B-3" as is described in Section 4712-X of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, designated as bill No. 28, passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 14, 1935. Item 2. The following described real property in Residential "13-2" as shown on the "Use District Map" is changed to Residential "C" classification, to-wit: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Blk. 61, Plat "D", Salt Lake City Survey, and running thence West 66 feet, thence south 49.5 feet, thence West 47.75 feet, thence South 33.0 feet, thence East 113.75 feet, thence North 82.5 feet to the place of beginning. Item 3. The following described real property in Residential "C" as shown on the "Use District Map" is changed to Residential "B-3" classification, to-wit: Lots 1 to 4 incl. of Block 1, Shannon's Addition, a subdivision of part of Blk. 12, 5-Acre Plat IC?, Big Field Survey. Lots 13 and 14, Block 1, Douglas Heights Plat B, a subdivision of part of Block 13, 5-Acre Plat 'CI, Big Field Survey. The East 125 ft. of the South 100 ft. of Lot 1, Blk. 26, 5-Acre Plat ICI, Big Field Survey; and the west 125 ft. of the South 100 ft. of Lot 2, Blk. 26, 5-Acre Plat 'C', Big Field Survey. L. B. & M. And that said "Use District Map" is hereby changed to show the above described amended classifications as herein indicated. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3.
