I
An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on the south side of First South Street between Sixth last street
and the west side dd Thirteenth East street, in Sewer District No.1,

for the construction of a sewer.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
Section 1. That said City Council does hereby levy the tax
and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter des-
cribed, abutting on the south side of First South street between

Sixth East street and the west side of Thirteenth East street, in
Sewer District No. 1.
fl This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
sewer upon said portion of said street, opposite the property here-
inafter described to be es;:ecially affected and benefited by said
it
improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established
that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount

Ij of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assess-
1 ed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot
frontage upon said street, fronting upon and at a depth of twenty-
five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be y,
assessed upon said parcels of land is five thousand eight hundred
and forty-two and 20-100 ($5842.20) dollars, or one and 30-100
($1.30) dollars per linear front foot, and the Treasurer id hereby
authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions
! of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lots 5,
6, 7 and 8, block 53; all of lots 5 and 6, block 54; all of lots 5,
6, 7 and 8, block 55; all of lot 5, and the east 270 feet of lot 6,
block 56, Plat "B", Salt Lake City Survey; all of lot 5, and the
west 132 feet of lot 6, the east 132 .feet of lot 7, and all of lot
