AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXVIII of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to licenses, by adding
in and to said chapter a new section to be known as Section 651X.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Chapter XXVIII of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1934, relating to licenses, be and the
same is hereby amended by adding in and to said chapter a new section
to be known as Section 651X, which shall read as follows:
SEC. 651X. On application made to the health Commis-
sioner by a meat slaughtering establishment a veterinary in-
spector may be assigned by the Health Commissioner at the pre-
mises of such establishment, charged with the duty of perform-
ing full time veterinarian inspection, provided that in lieu
of the charges in Section 651 designated as bill No. 20 of 1936
the sum of $1680.00 per annum shall be charged therefor and
shall be payable to the License Assessor and Collector in equal
monthly installments in advance.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of mmissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 7i9jy of A.D. 1938.
