AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEY 125 feet north of Stratford
Avenue and running from 19th East Street to Preston Street, in
Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
_ilyCity, Utah:

SECTION I. That alley 125 feet north of Stratford Avenue
and running from 19th East Street to Preston Street, in Salt Lake
City, Utah, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 480, Highland
09 Park Plat A, a subdivision of part of Sections 20 and 21 -
T. 1 S., R. 1 E., S. L. B. & M., thence west 232 ft. (County
237.6 ft.) to the northwest corner of Lot 488 aforesaid
Highland Park Plat, thence north 12 ft. to the southwest
corner Lot 489 aforesaid plat, thence east 232 ft. (County
237.6 ft.) to the southeast corner of Lot 479 aforesaid
plat, thence south 12 ft. to the place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
purlic property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian
ZNL way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing
right of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every
description now located on, in, under or over the confines of the
above described property and also subject to the right of entry
thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repairing, re-
placing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of
them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
