Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1 . That Item 2 (g) of Section 25-8-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, as amended by Bill No. 14 of 1960, relating to salaries of appointed officers in the Law Department, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: "Sec. 25-8-1. * * * "ITEM 2. Department of Public Affairs and Finance. * "(g) Law Department 1. City Attorney $10,000.00 2. One First Assistant City Attorney , 8,400.00 3. Two Assistant City Attorneys - each 7,800.00 4. One Assistant City Attorney 6,900.00 5. One Assistant City Attorney 6,600.00 ." SECTION 2. The foregoing salaries shall be effective as of January 16 , 1960. SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it 1s necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
