AN ORDINANCE .
An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 434 of the Revised!
[Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903.
Be it ordained by the City Council. of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 434 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City of 1903, be, and the same is hereby amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
. SECTION 4'a4.. MINORS ON THE STREETS AND IN PUBLIC PLACES

P. M. and four o',elook A. M. except such minor be attended by
some, adult person, It shall be unlawful for any parent,4guardia4
or other person, .having the legal oare and custody of anf minor !
under eighteen years of age, to allow or permit any auohmminor
to go or be in or upon any of the streets, alleys or public planes
in said city within the time hereinbefore prohibited, unless ao
oompanied by an adult person. It shall be the duty of the Chief;
of Police, or some one authorised by him, to ring the alarm bell)
at the fire station at nine o'clock each night, or to cause some{
other signal-to\be liven.,
SECTION 2. Al]. ordineaoes .and parts tf ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extentlof ouch conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
